The site started up in February 2005, and traffic has grown steadily since then despite no money being spent on marketing.  Almost all the traffic is generated by personal recommendations and links from other GP Training related sites.

The visitors to the site are all doctors wishing to train in general practice or already on a GP Vocational Training Scheme ( GP VTS ) / GP Specialty training programme.  

The site receives over 750,000 page views per year.

Average pages per visitor is over 9 - i.e. visitors are using the site not just looking at the first page and leaving.

This has made us the leading resource for doctors applying for or on a GP Vocational Training Scheme / GP Specilaty training programme.

This site is ranked 1st on Google and Netscape for the keyword "GPVTS", and appears on the 1st page on AOL / Lycos / MSN / Altavista / Yahoo.
